The Sr. Manager of Creative will pioneer this new position as an innovative leader on our Marketing Team. This motivated, highly creative individual with a track record of delivering exceptional creative work, will be responsible for building creative content for our brand in the home improvement space. This position will be accountable for generating on-brand creative marketing ideas, owning the entire process, and achieving flawless deliverables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and evolve the Friedman’s brand in the home improvement space
• Oversee all creative inclusive of our digital space, print, and any branded content
• Work closely with the Marketing team to define brand performance
• Analyze market trends, analytics, and performance metrics for consumer need in the competitive retail landscape
• Translate business objectives into clear and clever strategies
• Present creative ideas and content to leadership team
• Elevate all creative projects with innovative and creative strategy (video, graphic design, user experience and more)
• Participate in future brand strategy from previous campaigns and content, finding an innovative way to be present in the home improvement channel

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in communications, advertising, marketing, business or PR and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience: A minimum 7 years’ experience in a creative leadership role within an agency or corporate environment.

Required knowledge, ability, and technical skills:

• Passionate about new ideas and building the brand’s creative direction
• Detail-oriented and highly organized creative thinker with an innate visual aesthetic
• Future focused with a drive to see the company’s vision and interpret that into creative content
• Demonstrated success with marketing campaigns that enable increased awareness, customer engagement and product recognition resulting in business success
• Effective project management and time management skills that feed into planning and tracking of ongoing campaigns and development of marketing deliverables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, writing and proofing skills
• Highly self-motivated contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment
• Strong strategic, creative, and analytical thinking with experience in tactical planning
• Proven track record of creating compelling content for social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, and more
• Experience creating integrated materials from digital to print materials
• Experience with video and photography, creative and copywriting
• Experience with Illustrator, Indesign and other creative platforms
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite
• Demonstrated technical skills to perform the essential functions of the job
