Sr Mgr Channel Operations - OPE000998 This role can be flexible with worksite location.

This role is responsible for creating and driving operational strategy and execution for assigned channel(s). Provides leadership, guidance and support to senior leaders, channel leaders and direct report team to optimize multi-channel operational performance.
  • Own and oversee all aspects of channel operations
  • Serve as an operational consultant and expert to VPs, Directors and channel leadership
  • Collaborate in the review and prioritization of operational requests and projects to ensure alignment to key strategic business priorities, and help manage the timing and flow of roll outs to the frontline for successful implementation
  • Proactively investigate, identify, and manage opportunities for operational improvements
  • Lead the implementation and execution of operational programs and initiatives
  • Prioritize and manage all operation functions and initiatives including contracts, standards, communications, training and field support
  • Develop and drive operational process and procedure creation and improvement recommendations within and across channels
  • Develop and maintain contracts between UScellular and its agents and vendors; serves as the main point of escalation for questions, concerns or issues related to vendor performance
  • Oversee operational vendor score card reporting and related communications to leadership and other key stakeholders
  • Work closely with legal and regulatory leadership to ensure operations comply with requirements
  • Provide consultation, coaching, direction and leadership to direct and indirect teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary Range $118500 - $189751 / yearly
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience in sales or service organizations
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage virtual teams
  • Ability to develop strategy and translate strategic objectives into goals and tactical plans
  • Experience developing and driving operational performance standards and metrics
  • Strong business acumen
  • Highly effective communicator
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executives
  • Skilled at listening, influencing, negotiating and leading through change at all levels of the organization
  • Aptitude for building trusting relationships through a high level of engagement
  • Proven ability to develop, execute and manage contracts with third party vendors
  • Advanced experience with Windows based PCs and MS Office Suite
  • Travel and field visibility
