Position Summary
The Senior Organization Development Consultant will plan, implement, and evaluate large-scale change efforts by partnering with clients in determining improved organizational strategies, processes, structure, and roles and responsibilities. Supports the development of executives and health system leaders through design, facilitation, and coaching, including talent strategy activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Partners closely with Executive and Health System leaders to plan and implement enterprise-wide change and organizational transformation strategies that support the System’s Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Strategic Priorities.
- Contracts, assesses, designs, and delivers OD consulting services and manages projects that link to strategic business objectives including organizational change management, strategic planning, culture assessment, team development, executive and/or leadership performance coaching
- Collaborates with HR partners to customize services and enhance the client’s business performance including conducting needs assessments, collecting and analyzing organization data, designing processes, and facilitating interventions
- Designs and delivers executive development activities, including 360 feedback and planning
Competencies
- Education: Master’s degree in organizational development, organizational leadership, or Applied Behavioral science
- Knowledge: High level of proficiency in organizational behavior, group development, team development, adult development and learning
- Skills: Facilitation, organizational diagnostics and intervention, leadership coaching
- Certification: Change management (PROSCI preferred), Executive/leadership COACHING, PSYCHOMETRIC assessments as required
- Work experience: Requires minimum five to seven years of progressively responsible work-related experience
