Sr QA Analyst
Primary Location: Iselin, New Jersey
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Sr QA Analyst for our premier client in Iselin, New Jersey.
Education and Experience »
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with automated testing tools and methods.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results.
- 4+ years or experience in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Experience in Capital Markets and Asset/Wealth Management Industry.
- Self-directed, self-starter and motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Solid technology background, including an understanding of technology-governance frameworks and applications used in financial services.
Preferred Skills:
- Responsive and proactive in answering questions.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as OBIEE, Tableau or Power BI.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in functional testing, integration testing and regression testing (manual and automated).
- Test planning, developing test cases/test scripts, test execution, error reporting, analysis and error verification.
- Diagnose, analyze and solve application and data issues.
- Providing test reports and documenting problems found, steps to reproduce in the issue tracking tool and team site.
