Job Title: Sr. Specialist – Infrastructure Solutions - NIST 800-171

Pay Rate will be $80 - $90 (W-2) if near AR, FL ot MS

Duties: **Preferred onsite locations would be Huntsville, AL or Canoga Park, CA. However work can be done remotely. Hourly pay rate range depends on candidates location: (USD)90-(USD)100/hr for Canoga Park, Huntsville, or Redmond, WA. If location is Stennis, MS / Camden, AR or West Palm Beach, FL rate would be (USD)80-(USD)90/hr.**

The successful individual will have strong Windows and Linux Server architecture and Active Directory skills and the ability to apply full range of knowledge to maintain reliability and security of information systems. In this role you will be responsible for leading a project to ensure that Windows and Linux servers meet requirements for NIST 800-171. Develop strategies for modernizing or isolating obsolete operating systems and providing technical consultation for the migration of applications to modern virtualized platforms. Must understand NIST 800-171 controls and how to apply to Windows Server and Desktop operating systems. Possess working knowledge of Window 10/Sever 2012/2016/2019 and Linux RHEL experience with troubleshooting applicable systems. Familiarity with network concepts, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, client-server architectures, virtualization technologies, and basic troubleshooting concepts. AR policies for change control must be adhered to and coordinated with the appropriate groups. Any interruptions to client system services needs to be identified and accounted for in the project plan.

Skills: REQUIRED:

CompTIA A+, Dell TCO, Network +, MCSE and other technical certifications.

Microsoft Active Directory knowledge.

Solid understanding of NFS and NIS implementations on CentOS and RedHat operating systems EL 6 & 7 on networks and also standalone systems.

Service Now Ticketing and CMDB

Knowledge of authentication protocols and techniques (LDAPS/SAML/Kerberos/etc)

Strong Windows Server, Workstation, and Active Directory skills

Strong knowledge of hardening systems, running NESSUS TENABLE to asses vulnerabilities

Strong documentation skills and ability to document and diagram solutions using tools like MS Visio

DESIRED:

Expert-level knowledge in SafeNet or similar software products, Bitlocker for Windows, LUKS for Linux, for both Windows Server and Red Hat Linux operating systems.

Initial work will include the discovery of all systems utilizing the current SafeNet software console, and provide a complete plan for the removal of SafeNet software, de-encryption of each server, and immediate re-encryption of the server with the AR preferred software (BitLocker and LUKS).

Resources are to provide a detailed project timeline with milestones, and estimations to completion.

Resources are required to be United States citizens residing in the United States while working on this project. *additional DOD requirements apply.

Education: Requires a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related technology field and at least 14 years of experience in a professional Information Technology environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
