Red Knight Solutions is looking for an Sr Technical Architect to join its Infrastructure Delivery team. This individual will be the technical expert for the Architecture team that will collaborate with our clients and other internal teams to create innovative and compelling solutions for our customers and executing with delivery excellence to create incremental value.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Clients to understand their strategic, business, and technical needs
• Identify gaps in the client IT environment with the intent to address with ATS based offerings and Microsoft cloud
• Explain and educate complex solutions and integrations in a clear and articulate manner
• Articulate ATS’s framework and engagement approach around our Cloud and architectural modernization offerings from a technical and business perspective
• Lead the technical and design review of proposals and SOWs
• Ability to work individually and in team environments both internally and with clients to formalize client systems and project implementation and migration plans
• Mentor and lead a team of Architects to review proposed solutions and assess deliverability feasibility and create detailed Reference Architectures
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution for given proposal. Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
• Create high-level and detailed diagrams, as well as BOMs
• Act as the escalation lead engineer for high criticality incidents that involve multiple ATS resources
• Apply security best practices against all designs and incorporate into the implementation project plan
• Create in-house capabilities to support delivery of new ATS offerings
• Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guidance of a small team of architectural engineers

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10 years prior experience working in a multi-tenant environment such as an MSP or VAR
• Experience in architect or senior systems engineer roles
• High proficiency in designing and implementing Microsoft 365 and Azure based solutions
• High proficiency in designing and implementing networking products in traditional and Cloud environments, particularly Cisco products
• Experience writing complex PowerShell scripts and working with APIs in a production environment
• Previous experience writing project plans, technical procedures, and post-implementation documentation
• Successfully led large consulting engagements with substantial delivery and hands-on experience.
• Proven experience in playing a technology practice lead role and managing a team of senior technology engineers
