Staff Accountant Job at Synergy Staffing Services
A well known Johnson County company is looking to add a Staff Accountant to its growing team. Bachelors degree in Accounting and 0-2 years of accounting experience are preferred. Recent Accounting graduates are encouraged to apply.
The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:
- Billing
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Reconcile general ledger
- Assist with financial statement reports
Bachelors degree in Accounting required. MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) skills required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work with limited supervision, and have strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting is preferred
- QuickBooks experience is strongly preferred
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills, with a strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
