SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Staffing Coordinator will play an integral role in supporting a sales and service culture. They will enhance our brand as a retailer with an engaged workforce dedicated to providing exceptional service. A successful Staffing Coordinator is actively involved in supporting the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding efforts while making the candidate experience exceptional. The Staffing Coordinator will work collectively with the leadership team to support training and development programs for team members. This requires working in service with one another and the customer, prioritizing workload, and contributing to accomplishing the team’s key objective.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acknowledges and is actively engaged with customers in a courteous, helpful, and respectful manner, assists as needed.
  • Supports staffing and recruiting activities, maintains recruitment collateral, prescreens candidates based on hiring parameters, schedules candidate interviews, participates in recruiting initiatives.
  • Monitors recruiting and hiring process in HRIS system, communicates required actions to candidates and hiring manager, ensures completion of required employment tasks.
  • Schedules and organizes new hire Orientation, maintains training materials, audio visual equipment, and assists with facilitation of onboarding tasks including input of required tax information and verifying I-9 within the required timeframe.
  • Effectively communicates to team members; supports and responds to requests and inquires in a courteous, professional, respectful, and confidential manner.
  • Tracks and records/reports timekeeping compliance, attendance, work schedules, vacations/time off, required training, performance evaluations, and other administrative processes as needed.
  • Assists with scheduling functions, maintains timekeeping system, posts weekly schedule promptly.
  • Maintains communication boards, i.e., Recognition, Training, Huddles, Scheduling, Safety, Compliance.
  • Maintains team member personnel files in accordance with company policy; upholds record keeping and data security requirements, maintains confidentiality.
  • Processes office and training supply orders; validates orders and processes returns as needed.
  • Coordinates pickup for inter-company mail; sorts incoming mail and distributes appropriately.
  • Maintains housekeeping standards; cleans fixtures as needed, removes debris/trash.
  • Counts and balances store safe and registers, prepares daily deposit, places currency orders, as needed.
  • Demonstrates safe work methods and practices, including reporting safety issues promptly.
  • Performs responsibilities efficiently, accurately, and effectively following policies and procedures.
  • Performs additional duties, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be minimum of 18 years old.
  • Prior related experience desired.
  • Ability to type and use Microsoft Word/ Excel and various systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Occasionally be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
  • May involve reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
