Position: Stock Clerk

Reports To: Project Manager

Work Location: Fort Bliss, TX

Job Description: Advantage SCI is seeking a Stock Clerk to be considered for full time employment.

Summary of Duties includes, but is not limited to:

Administers the stock control plan ensuring continual accountability of government and company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy is followed.

Orders, receives, stores, maintains and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools to support the daily Operations.

Sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice; examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material; fills orders or issues supplies from stock, prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.

Maintains supply accountability records. Perform serviceability inventories of materials and supplies and arranges disposal when surplus or obsolete. Perform document register reconciliations as required.

Assist in ensuring contract provisions are met. Maintains files in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Operates the Logistics Information Systems (LIS). Perform Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS). Trains personnel on all Logistics Information System. Perform Location Survey and Inventory Procedures. Conducts the physical counting of inventory items.

Researches and resolves inventory and/or system problems. Provides advice and assistance on unusual and difficult problems; and reviews work on a spot check basis. Reviews overall operations for status and progress, causes of delays and other problems that affect or hinder timely completion of the work being performed.

Duties may vary depending on assigned departments. Performs other duties as required.
Experience and Skills:

• Minimum Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver's license
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years
• 1-3 years’ experience directly related to warehouse supply control and supply
• inventory management required.
• Must have a basic working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs,
• policies, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• 1-3 years in inventory stock control required.

• Preferred Qualifications

• US Army 92A or 92Y preferred.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of Inventory Management required.
• Experience in performing logistics management functions required.
• Working knowledge of the U.S. Army inventory management accountings systems
• is required.
• Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include
• multinational staff, superiors, and ranking military officers.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to handle a demanding workload is
• required.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications is required.
