Stock Controller Job at Wren US Holdings Inc
Critical purpose of role:
- To work within a designated department in a position within the team as designated by the Manager/Supervisor
- To provide proactive stock control support to the Warehouse Management Team
- To support the department in any stock control problems that may arise
Main responsibilities:
- Pro-actively handle all stock issues for the function of stock control
- Process email ticket queries in a timely manner and provide relevant feedback to team members
- Produce statistical data to include all stock count sheets and information regarding stock query and resolve sheets
- Produce periodic stock count reports as required
- Carry out stock maintenance when counting stock and report any concerns regarding stock immediately to the Stock Control Supervisor
- Ensure all daily departmental duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the department
- Provide training and support to colleagues as required by your area manager
- Project a positive image of Wren Kitchens and the department at all times
- Undertake any other Warehouse duties as reasonably as requested by the manager or supervisor
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding health and safety in the workplace
- Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role
Who are we looking for?
- Warehouse experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong organizational, time management and team working skills
- Flexibility, commitment and punctuality
- Excellent numeracy skills
- The adeptness to manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications
- Knowledge of Internal & warehouse systems
- Excellent communication skills in order to deal with a variety of individuals and issues
- Initiative – the ability to make decisions and follow them through to achieve a perceivable objective
- Strong IT knowledge, including use of Microsoft Office
- Please note: You only get a 30 minute lunch during your 8 hour shift. No unpaid breaks are provided during your 8 hour period.
