Storeroom Clerk
Summary: Stocks parts and materials, and issues inventory to customers. Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Complies with all Fluor and client safety requirements and programs.
- Issue material in SAP (MB1A) from a work order or issue log sheet.
- Inventory material on issue log before issuing.
- Help customers find needed materials in SAP and in the storeroom.
- Help receiver put away stock, ensuring stock is rotated.
- Compare material part number and description to the sticker when restocking. Flag for review anything that does not match.
- Do not have more than one storage location for an item. If overflow is necessary, move materials around so the material can all be stored in one location.
- Remove debris in storage locations when identified.
- Replace stickers as identified bad when necessary.
- Ensure all materials on log sheet are issued by the end of business that day.
- Always look for items out of place and find their proper home.
- Perform daily reporting, such as MRP and cycle counts.
- Cross train to be fluent in the shipping/receiving process when support is required and as a relief during daily lunch breaks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year experience in inventory control, stockroom, material handling, or parts issuing.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
