You are responsible for all aspects of store operations, and for the strategy and development of your team members. You are accountable for ensuring that all areas of the store are operating at maximum capacity, with time allocated at a maximum of 20% behind the counter and 80% on the floor selling, providing educational coaching, and setting the scene to deliver unmatched patient experiences. You are intentional about outcomes and set the pace for your team to achieve superior results in real time and for tomorrow.
A Glimpse into Your Day –
Essential Functions:
· You own action items including sales each day, team management, and coaching.
· You lead and motivate your team with a winning mentality.
- You utilize critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues, work collaboratively with your team to brainstorm solutions, and implement improvements.
· You have an active presence on the retail floor and demonstrate an expert sales skillset, accompanied by strong product knowledge.
· You verify that store inventories cycle counts completed thoroughly and accurately.
· You handle cash management seamlessly through verifying that vaults and deposits are accurate with variances investigated and corrective actions taken, bank deposits are then made accordingly.
· You process transactions through the POS (point-of-sale) system, loyalty points database, inventory control system and other technology driven platforms utilized by the retail outlet.
· You provide daily recaps to the Area Manager, inclusive of highlights and anything that may need special attention such as product requests or repair requests.
· You uphold all policies, procedures, and security protocols by adhering to the ACC employee manual and policies.
Team Operations:
· You properly train new team members from both an operational, sales and product knowledge perspective and follow up with new employees at their 30-day, 60-day and 90-day mark to ensure success of onboarding.
· You encourage your team members to post stories on internal and external social media accounts to drive brand awareness.
· You manage the staffing scheduling and labor for your store.
· You fulfill job duties of any team member, as needed, to compensate for staffing shortages, break times, higher than normal sales volume, or to support general operations.
· You actively seek out new talent
Job Requirements:
· Must be 21 years of age.
· Must pass background check and reference checks.
· High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Must have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as schedule shifts or coverage needs occur.
Proven Skills and Abilities Desired:
· Proven ability to lead teams and instill positive company culture.
· Proven sales ability
· Ability to analyze sales reports and identify trends within the industry.
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· The ability to own your position and treat your store as such.
· High attention to detail

· Experience in a supervisory role in retail or service-related industry.
· Cannabis experience preferred but not required
