Position Description:
As a Strategic Account Executive (RedwoodConnect), you will be responsible for achieving sales targets to meet planned objectives and develop strategic sales strategies to align with growing top line revenue for Redwood’s SaaS product line.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Redwood’s flagship SaaS product, RedwoodConnect, to potential clients
- Build long-term, strategic relationships with customers, business decision makes, and industry stakeholders
- Develop and execute a business plan to penetrate new accounts and win new business; and expand our SaaS footprint within current customers
- Consult with customers to offer various solutions that will solve current supply chain challenges while enabling future scale
- Understand customer requirements and scope to qualify potential opportunities
- Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams within Redwood and our reseller/referral partners
- Identify potential customer roadblocks to selecting and implementing a SaaS solution, and work internally and externally to strategically solve the potential challenges
- Be a thought leader in the area of SaaS sales and customer success
- Collaborate with colleagues across other Redwood service lines and products to build sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide client and market led input into product strategy
- Attend key industry and channel partner events
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record of at least 5 years in a SaaS selling environment into multifaceted customer domains, early to mid stage (VC backed) companies a big plus
- Proven expertise in complex solution selling into large and mid-sized enterprise accounts
- Confidence in delivering presentations, highly skilled at communicating and influencing, both with clients and internal stakeholders; you know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it
- You have expertise at the enterprise level – you develop and lead prospect by applying analytics to specific business issues, you know how to “drive a deal”
- Team player – you understand early stage and the need to work as a team for everyone to be successful and you thrive on “building it yourself”
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
