SET THE COURSE
The Project Manager – HR & Recruiting Strategic Projects is responsible for driving Recruiting and Human Resource related projects, processes and procedures along with running requisitions. The Project Manager is also responsible for assisting the business broadly with recruiting/HR related training, including onboarding as needed, systems support (recruiting and HRIS). The Project Manager will participate and lead process improvement projects, and regularly assist field teams, through training and tool development, with HR challenges related to hiring, terminations and other tasks.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
  • Driving and making recommendations for any HR or Recruiting related processes. Brings ideas forward to stay current with best practices in HR and Recruiting. Is hungry for knowledge on latest trends and brings forward ideas to HR Leaders.
  • Project manages and potentially runs implementations of updated processes and HR initiatives. Assemble cross functional resources to drive project completion.
  • Create project tracking plans, schedules, risks for projects and communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders.
  • Engages with hiring managers to provide feedback and advice around HR and recruiting related approaches and strategies. Includes supporting Workday, LinkedIn, Indeed and other systems regularly used by HR (Smartsheet, LinkedIn Learning etc.)
  • Owns the Tommy Bahama Mentorship program. Helps participants with questions and navigating issues when they arise. Delivers training around mentorship program at the start of each session.
  • Primary point of contact for Tommy Bahama Internship program. Assists with the recruitment of interns. Coordinates intern related activities such as travel and new hire orientation/onboarding processes.
  • Ownership of HR Intranet SharePoint site. Responsible for updating content, auditing content annually and assisting with projects related to the Intranet as directed by leaders. Takes responsibility for making regular updates to the site, collaborating with relevant stakeholders. Builds new pages as business needs require.
  • Daily Workday transaction audits to ensure new hires and termination information is captured and input correctly. Works with Payroll and Benefits on any issues or working on process improvements.
  • Primary resource for Corporate Stay Interview process. Initiates survey’s and reports back with updates to HR Leadership.
  • Acts as process owner, author, and company expert on the corporate new hire orientation process. Delivers new hire orientation in the absence of Recruiting Coordinator and trains others on how to execute new hire orientation.
  • Plays a key role in the development and presentation of HR related trainings. Trainings can include Workday, General HR Compliance or any variety of HR focused information.
  • Runs a desk of requisitions depending on workload of the team and projects in flight.
  • Maintains close partnership with both University and Community Based Organizations to apply Diversity & Inclusion (D & I) initiatives across the company.
  • Identifies and maintains relationships with D & I conferences, professional organizations, and other events that engage diverse talent.
  • Strategically identifies and drives HR improvement projects including management guides and tool development to benefits internal partners by making information more accessible, understandable, and useful.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Partners with HR leadership on special projects in support of benefits, employee relations, recruiting and HRIS.
  • Maintains superior knowledge of industry HR practices and legal employment considerations and applies that knowledge as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains contacts in related companies, schools, agencies, etc.
  • Participates in creating and monitoring activities that impact employment brand awareness (employment advertising, collateral material, website and posting content, events, etc.).
  • Assists with current and new employee relocations as necessary.
  • Other duties within the HR team as needed.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
  • 4+ years of corporate HR experience including recruitment experience.
  • 1-2 years participating in training and educational programs as a lead.
  • Ability to efficiently use a variety of software, including Word, Outlook, Smartsheet and Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience with an applicant tracking system and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating programs and strategies in support of projects/programs.
Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
Rate Range: $66,000 to $90,275 per year
