STRIVE Night & Tweens Team Lead - $1,750 Sign-on Job at PSL Services/STRIVE
The cornerstone of the STRIVE program is STRIVE Night. STRIVE Night is a program offering teens and young adults (ages 15-24) with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to have fun and interact with their peers on a weekly basis. Additionally, Tweens is a STRIVE social program currently held every Friday from 3:30-5:30pm. 11-14 year olds (“tweens”) with intellectual/ developmental disabilities are invited to enjoy structured activities with peers in a fun and safe environment!
We are currently seeking a Team Leader of our STRIVE Night & Tweens program. This position will work closely with the STRIVE Program and Events Coordinator to plan, facilitate and participate in the Tweens and STRIVE Night programs.
This hours for this position are Fridays 1:30-9:30 pm. Opportunities may be available through other areas of agency programming, if interested.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, and we provide all of the necessary training. We are seeking a flexible candidate who is eager to learn. We are offering a $1,750 sign-on bonus for the successful applicant and $250 additionally if already DSP certified!
Responsibilities & Requirements:
· Experience working directly with people with intellectual disabilities
· Strong organizational skills, professional attitude, and the ability to work with a variety of people, including both clients and family members.
· Self-motivated and a strong attention to detail
· High school diploma or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.58 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
