OTIE currently has an immediate opening for a Senior Level Structural Engineer in our Milwaukee or Madison, WI offices. We currently have a solid backlog of projects, an excellent staff of engineers, and a reputation for providing outstanding services to our clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our structural engineering team. This position offers an opportunity for promotions and upward mobility within a growing firm that has a 30+ year track record of providing outstanding engineering services for federal, state, county, municipal and private clients. The ideal candidate for this position will:
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality design support for the structural engineering group
- Manage projects effectively meeting quality, budget and schedule goals
- Be active in pursuing potential project leads and assembling proposals
- Assist in mentoring less experienced engineers
- Performing Quality Control reviews on technical submittals
- Have advanced knowledge in the areas of concrete, steel, wood, and CMU structures
- Have the ability to work well independently and in a project team in a fast paced environment
- Have the ability to perform condition assessment of an existing structure is a plus
- Have a working knowledge of standard industry software such as the Experience with structural analysis software including RAM, Tedds, Adapt; Revit and or AutoCad; MS Word and Excel
- Work cooperatively with other engineers, project managers and technicians
- Develop and promote a positive internal work environment that takes great pride in delivering outstanding structural services to our clients
Qualification Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures
- 10+ years of structural experience, and be a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
