Under broad supervision, responsible for the cashiering operations of a university business office, assuring compliance with pertinent regulations concerning the receipt, custody and handling of money. Balancing and posting deposits on a daily basis. Responsible for servicing student accounts.
Typical Duties:
- Responsible for the Cashier Operations. (Daily balancing; customer service; etc.).
- Reconciliation of daily cashier transactions and reports.
- Safeguarding cash according to policies and procedures.
- Responsible for servicing student accounts, answering phones, emails, and in-person customer inquiries.
- Support Bison One Stop
- Regular, reliable attendance is critical.
- Computer, software and basic technology skills.
- An excellent acumen for detail and working with numbers.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Maintain both accounting and physical controls over cash, checks, and other negotiable instruments.
