SES Group of Companies, LLC (SGC) is growing! We are seeking a talented Subcontract Administrator to join our team in our Oak Ridge, Tennessee office (relocation incentive offered). In this crucial role, you'll fulfill all aspects of subcontracts, change orders, and additional duties listed below. This position has a potential work HYBRID SCHEDULE available and a relocation incentive to TN is offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary company contact for subcontracts activities and issues
  • Create and maintain complex construction, environmental, and other subcontracts, and purchase orders in accordance with all regulations
  • Negotiate terms and conditions as needed
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and initiate corrective action as needed
  • Lead/Assist in the resolution of subcontract-related disputes, claims, legal notices, and other actions
  • Develop formal correspondence with subcontractors
  • Advise management of subcontracting risks, when identified
  • Mitigate subcontracting risks when identified
  • Direct interface with subcontractors, vendors, and corporate personnel

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of construction and/or services subcontract creation and administration experience in a Federal Government contracting environment
  • Thorough understanding of FAR, FAR Supplements, and DFAR regulations
  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
  • Experience negotiating contractual terms and conditions
  • Understanding of government contracts, types, and the applicability of specific regulations
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CostPoint is a plus
  • Negotiation skills are a plus!
