Contribute to the warm and welcoming environment at Circle Academy, a non-public Special Education school serving S/ED, BD, LD youth ages 5-21. The Substitute Paraeducator works under the direction of, and in accordance with, the classroom teacher(s) to plan, coordinate, and implement the assigned classroom program. Previous experience in a school setting is preferred. Applicant must be a dependable team player with a strong work ethic.

Candidates must have a para-professional license issued by the ISBE or able to obtain one. Bachelor’s Degree required, in education or human services preferred. Prospective employees must be at least 21 years old, have excellent written and oral communication skills, possess a valid Illinois driver's license and proof of auto insurance, and be able to maintain our client’s confidentiality. Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment physical, and background check.
