- This position will be based in New York City with either a hybrid or fully remote schedule. Students engaged in fully remote work must be based in the United States.

Pay Range: $30 - $35 hourly rate. This represents the present low and high end of the Foundation’s pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience. This is a non-exempt position and thus eligible for overtime pay.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of the 17 Rooms initiative, a partnership between The Rockefeller Foundation and the Center for Sustainable Development at the Brookings Institution to advance the economic, social, and environmental priorities embedded in the world’s Sustainable Development Goals. This will include support planning in-person and virtual events and strategic engagement with room participants and light administrative support to room co-leads.
- Support the implementation of the Bellagio Alumni Network engagement experiments, a community of leaders who have participated in a residency or organized a convening at the Foundation’s conference center in Bellagio, Italy. This will include project managing and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are carried through by members of the Convenings & Networks team and Communications, Policy, and Advocacy team on relevant Network engagement activities.
- Coordinate the management of an editorial calendar for Bellagio Network storytelling, ensuring dates are aligned with overall institutional communications priorities and production is running smoothly.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the Bellagio Network and programming, including the development of new engagement experiments, possible convening or residency partnerships, and opportunities for NY-based partnerships to support our new conference space
- Manage the execution of new engagement experiments with network members (e.g., virtual convenings, network weaving/introductions, social media engagement) and collection of feedback from those experiments, including also the production and execution of NYC-based events
- Produce internal and external communications to support Bellagio Center programming and Network engagement activities
- Draft grant and contract materials with guidance from program officers.
- Support due diligence of potential grants and contracts as needed.
- Support the operation of Monday Board and Salesforce database tools through data entry, data cleanup, data pulls, and other tasks as needed.
Education, Experience, and Skills
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in one of the following areas: business, technology, public policy, government, international development, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to engage and collaborate with global leaders with professionalism and poise
- Strong research and analytical capabilities; able to synthesize large volumes of research and data to guide strategy.
- Collaborative, innovative, eager to learn, and interested in how foundations create and implement strategies working alongside partners.
- Previous work experience in the nonprofit sector, consulting, research, technology, or business-related field preferred.
- Must be a proactive self-starter.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet search skills, and ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Committed to the mission of the Foundation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
