Final Assembly Supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in Technical, Management, or Business field preferred
- 5 - 10 years previous supervisory experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment
- Excellent Leadership skills required
- Excellent organization and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work long hours as necessary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, develop, monitor and evaluate subordinate colleagues
- Provide leadership and direction to team members
- Monitors production operation to ensure colleague safety, product quality and production efficiency
- Supervise all activities, personnel including team captains, process technicians, equipment and production
- Monitor change over and/or line set up efficiency
- Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, this includes first piece buyoffs
- Interface with Production Scheduling to determine schedules for shift production and ensure schedule is met
- Monitor plant housekeeping and ensure compliance with 5S standards
- Maintain outside areas of plant and outside storage areas
- Enforce all company policies and procedures
- Monitor and report all production documentation including setup documentation
- Monitor production process for CI in both efficiency and quality
- Interface with Human Resources on all policy and discipline issues
- Address colleagues concerns and use people skills to resolve the issues
- Communicate with all on priority of special assignments or any issues needed
- Monitor and maintain all safety equipment, Webasto owned equipment and tools
