Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Concurrent Review & Care Transitions, the Supervisor, Concurrent Review (CCR) Coordinators is responsible for staffing, developing a high performing team of utilization management coordinators committed to providing exemplary service and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. You will supervise non-clinical concurrent review staff and ensuring that we meet our metrics, regulation and accreditation standards, goals, and maintain high staff morale. You will oversee daily operations and identify areas for improvement to challenge and heighten our performance standards.

This position is open to remote work, depending on the candidate's qualifications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Supervise and coach CCR Coordinator staff
• Assist in hiring process of CCR coordinators as delegated by CCR Manager
• Work with CCR Nurses, CCR and PA Managers, Medical Directors and all Health Services Staff
• Plan and organize daily operational work for the department.
• Trouble shoot and assist CCR coordinator on issues that arise
• Ensure staff handles provider inquiries and promptly follow up on provider issues.
• Work with CCR and PA Nurse Managers and Director to set up departmental goals.
• Evaluate performance and address performance issues of CCR coordinators. Communicate and motivate staff.
• Develop training programs for new hires and ongoing training needs

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor's degree in business management, health care administration or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience required. Prior experience in Utilization Management preferred
• Knowledge of San Francisco County community resources, Medi-Cal and Department of Health Service regulations and DHCS/DMHC/NCQA requirements
• Knowledge of medical terminology and concepts of managed care
