EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 65,000 people in need through 100 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks a Supervisor to work full time for its Education, Rehabilitation & Support Enforcement/ Early Intervention Program (ERASE/EIP).

The Supervisor position is a non-exempt position paying $25-25.75 per hour. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. The office is located in Central Islip, NY. The role reports to Division Director.

Primary Purpose of Job:

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and supervision of the staff of the ERASE/EIP program.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise all related staff, including training and work assignments.
  • Provide on-site direction toward the attainment of established program goals.
  • Act as liaison between the courts, C.S.E.B., County attorneys office and respondents.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly updates on support payments and program narratives.
  • Determine the class schedule and content.
  • Monitor all program budgets in conjunction with the EAC NETWORK Division Director of Family Services.
  • Customarily and regularly exercise discretionary powers.
  • Complete and conduct Employee Performance Reviews and conduct meetings with staff, coordinate in-service trainings.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

  • High School Diploma or educational equivalent required a degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences preferred.
  • Three years of relevant experience in the Child Support system required.
  • Must have current knowledge of Family Court systems.
  • Supervisory experience preferred especially with EAC NETWORK programs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments specifically Assets.
