Position Summary:
The NWH Supply Chain team is responsible for the disciplines of Procurement, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Transportation, Warehousing, S&OP, and Customer Service.

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Analyst - Project Management is responsible for assisting Supply Chain Leadership in the coordination of metrics, projects, and process improvements. This role will interface with all areas of the company. This role will be based in our Corporate office location in Frisco, Texas. The work schedule will be hybrid (remote and onsite) upon completion of new team member training.
The right candidate for this role will be an ambitious individual, looking to grow their skillset and broaden their business acumen. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, and project management skills. The position also requires candidates to have strong time management skills, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast pace working environment. The candidate must have a strong desire to collaborate and work across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage projects directly and/or track progress of Supply Chain projects
  • Working with the VP of Supply Chain, help lead cross-functional initiatives driving collaboration both within the Supply Chain organization and across the Enterprise
  • Use analytical perspective and business acumen to provide insight and generate recommendations on improving Supply Chain performance
  • Develop and maintain reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
  • Generate ad hoc analysis to drive business decisions and proposals
  • Facilitate communication across business functions
  • Perform special projects and assist VP of Supply Chain as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Economics
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing projects
  • Experience in using analytics to drive organizational improvement
  • Training and/or experience in project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain or Project Management related certifications
  • TMS/Oracle/Lumbertrack System

Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical ability: ability to quickly understand concepts and think through possible solutions and implications
  • Ability to extract and synthesize supply chain data, analyze it quickly and translate it into informative and actionable reporting
  • Effective in managing large projects and meeting critical deadlines
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; detail oriented with big picture vision; ability to effectively engage with Supply Chain leaders as well as the Senior Leadership Team
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; can handle requests that do not have significant detail; can use estimating skills when data is lacking
  • Highly competent with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and assertive
