Supply Planner Randolph Job at Neogen

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creation of the supply plan utilizing ERP.

Set and implement parameters in planning systems
-
Drive the use of ERP and supply chain toolsets to deliver targeted customer service levels and desired finished goods inventory levels.

Manage purchase order for buy/sell finished goods.

Execute supply planning standard work and drive standard work adherence metrics.

Partner with manufacturing, business, lab, sales, quality, and other business functions.

Identify opportunities to drive sustainable service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory improvements.

Assist business group operations with capacity planning, demand, and supply synchronization, and executing against strategic business targets.

Communicate regularly and effectively to varying levels of the organization regarding inventory and backorder level
-
Plan both short and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory requirements to support customer
-
Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory
Education and Experience
-
2 year degree in Logistics or Planning, or equivalent experience
