About this Position:

Maintain PMD records to ensure Quality Management System compliance, record retention, and training. Support Alabama Auto Plant executives, MPC Division, and PMD Department as needed. Departmental and divisional support (PMD/MPC) to maintain operational and support stability. Departmental, divisional, and AAP wide support activity to both lead and support special project initiatives that require multi-plant/divisional/departmental coordination as well as external communications outside of AAP.


Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain regular communication with internal and external departments/groups to ensure Plant Leader requirements are met
  • Develop and manage department budget for supplies/expenditures including reconciliation
  • Develop capability of self and team through training, mentorship, and sharing of experiences to improve proper management and understanding of department manpower
  • Manage/coordinate vendors, service providers, other outside entities to ensure adherence to department scope of work (SOW) for company activities or events
  • Manage PMD records to ensure compliance with QMS and record retention
  • Supports identification of gaps and issues, and develops action plans/projects and coordinates activity across AAP and regional business units

Who we are seeking:


Required Experience:

4 years’ experience with relevant experience


Required Education:

Business Degree or 4 years’ equivalent experience

  • Project management skills
  • Excel/computer skills
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) knowledge
  • Leadership skills

  • Workstyle: Onsite/Office/Plant environment
  • Approx. Travel: <5%
  • Overtime: 2-5hrs overtime per week as needed
