Job Summary:
The person fulfilling this position must be capable of performing the following, but not limited to:
- Operate all CCTV Surveillance equipment.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of and proficiency in the operation of video monitor console equipment and related logging procedures and location of cameras.
- Observe, document and report any suspicious activities or any incidences or attempted incidences of actual or suspected cheating or theft by customers or employees.
- Prepare and maintain logs, observation reports, and other data in a manner prescribed by the Surveillance Division Policies and procedures.
- Prepare footage in a manner prescribed by the Surveillance Division policies and procedures.
- Safeguard all confidential information and ensure that the Surveillance Division and Casino activities are not discussed with any outside entities, except as authorized by the Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Acquire and maintain a complete knowledge and proficiency in all Casino cheating and theft methods, including different "21" card-counting systems.
- Become familiar with current lists of undesirables and cheats issued and maintained by the Security Department, including the ICSN bulletins; be alert to and report any such individuals in the casino to the Surveillance Supervisor.
- Strive to maintain anonymity of self and others in the Surveillance Division.
- Ensure that all evidence materials are properly maintained including but not limited to tapes, reports, and photographs.
- Conduct self in a manner that reflects positively on the Tribal Gaming Commission and encourage others to do the same.
Qualifications/Requirements: High School diploma or general education degree required. One or more years of prior surveillance or monitoring experience is preferred and will be considered along with other relevant educational, gaming, security, investigative work, or in use of video surveillance systems experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Surveillance Agent. Previous loss prevention experience preferred. Native American Preference Applies.
