Scion Technical has been engaged to conduct a search for an organized Sustaining Engineer for an organization that specializes in emergency lighting manufacturing and is the choice of many leading architects!

The Sustaining Engineer will have the opportunity to be heavily involved in the identification, review, assessment, and resolution of deficiencies throughout the system lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

• Technically surveillancing critical safety items, approved sources for these items, and oversight of the design configuration baselines.
• Developing required design changes to resolve operational issues.
• Finding the root cause of in-service problems such as operational hazards, corrosion effects, and reliability degradation.
• Diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS), mitigation.
• Analyzing environmental and safety hazards, failure causes and effects, reliability, and maintainability trends.

What you will need:

• Previous experience in the manufacturing, lighting, invertor, or similar industry.
• Electrical Engineering Degree and or relevant experience.
• Skilled with the use of FEA tools and software.
• The ability to meet physical demands when working onsite.
