POSITION SUMMARY U.S. AutoForce brings together 70 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of automotive tires, parts and lubricants. With comprehensive product offerings, expanded capabilities, and combined distribution, U.S. AutoForce is the preferred wholesale tire, part & lubricant distributor in the automotive industry.

A transformational and collaborative leader, the SVP of Supply Chain Management is responsible for all aspects of AutoForce’s supply chain execution. As one of the largest national tire distributors, this critical role is needed to ensure AutoForce’s supply chain function is a sustainable, competitive advantage that balances scalability and regional nuance.

This leader oversees a team of subject matter experts who are accountable to deliver all aspects of supply chain operations, inclusive of strategic sourcing (supplier selection and development), procurement/purchasing, forecast planning, inventory efficiency, inbound logistics, distribution operations, private fleet execution and planning, industrial engineering, inventory and service level execution, maintenance and facilities planning and operations, and business continuity and resiliency. In addition, this role will also oversee the functions of automation, cost management/reduction, and sales and marketing. Finally, they will set a visible example for their team of their commitment to safety, managing risk and compliance, high ethical standards, and environmental stewardship.

This position will office at our company headquarters in Appleton, WI. Relocation assistance provided to qualified candidate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or logistics. MBA degree preferred.
10 years progressive business and leadership experience, preferably in B2B and multi-site organizations.
Excellent planning, communication, problem identification and solving, and project management skills.
Proactive leader with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy as well as implementing and managing tactics - ability and willingness to be a hands-on leader.
Strong financial acumen, proven experience managing complex budgeting and Profit & Loss statements (P&L).
Promotes a people-first culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Highly effective leader of teams and individuals – ability to deliver strong team performance by leveraging, developing, and combining individual strengths. Effective manager of change and talent development.
Effective risk manager: ability to see and assess risk and find effective mitigation strategies. Ability to learn from prior mistakes and course correct as needed.
Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating vital emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
Willingness to travel

QUALIFICATIONS
Provide strategic, visionary leadership and tactical direction to achieve our strategic objectives and initiatives, keeping automation, optimization, and transformative best practices at the forefront.
Ensure seamless acquisition integrations by understanding processes and procedures of the acquired, as well as our own, to implement the best of the best across the system.
Identifying and implement the necessary world class supply chain strategies that drive supply reliability, environmental sustainability, maximize cost efficiencies, and enable solutions for critical projects.
Establish a strong omnichannel strategy enabling faster commercial growth with improved inventory and capital productivity.
Engage with people resources to proactively address and monitor and attraction, retention, safety, and culture across all locations.
Build strong relationships with regional and functional leaders to define and execute the long-term strategies across the matrix structure.
Oversee a team of experts to bring forward automation and technology solutions that support the strategies of AutoForce.
Maintain knowledge of and adopt industry trends and best practices as appropriate as well as proactive plans to address regulatory, competitive, and supply chain pressures.
Tactfully engage cross-functional (internal and external) leadership to ensure aligned goals, communication, and execution.
Build and maintain strong partnership with key vendors and customers.
Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators to the entire AutoForce leadership team and as necessary the SLT.
Develop a highly efficient and effective organization, culture, and talent base.
