DeKalb Community Service Board (CSB) is an innovative, community-based behavioral health and developmental disabilities services organization located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, offering a full range of mental health services, developmental disabilities programs and substance abuse treatment to more than 11,000 citizens annually who are uninsured and underinsured.

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
DeKalb Addiction Center – ITS 45
JOB SUMMARY:
Schedules and perform preventative maintenance of networking, software and hardware components. Prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help request. Performs network administration duties for all networking, which may include but are not limited to, physical and virtual LANs, firewalls, security and network access control systems for wired and wireless networks. Incumbents in this job may require additional training or experience to gain full proficiency in some or all of the job responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Two-year experience planning, installing, configuring, troubleshooting network devices and serves on a LAN/WAN with at least 200 users. Ability to effectively communicate and assist end users and other IT staff with computer related issues.
Pre-employment drug screening may be required. Selected applicant will be subject of an FBI Criminal History Record Check, and the applicant has the right to challenge the contents of their Criminal History Record Information, should they choose to do so. This employer participates in E-Verify.

- Designs, configures, and tests computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
- Interacts with management and submits status reports, upgrade recommendations, and problem alerts.
- Diagnoses hardware and software problems and replace defective components.
- Escalates problems to vendor and/or developer for advanced debugging or software correction.
- Monitors network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made and future changes.
- Operates consoles to monitor performance of the computer systems and networks, and to
- Plans, coordinates, and implements network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Maintains a consistent, high quality, customer-focused orientation when conducting business and providing services or products to clients, the general public and other external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
