Position Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Security Clearance: TS with Polygraph
Position Description:

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems. Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server based.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Operating Systems and Applications
- Knowledge of Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
- Familiar with System Maintenance
- Knowledge of installing, supporting and maintaining systems/servers and installing software
- Knowledge of UNIX scripts
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and excellent problem solving experience
- Experience with PC and desktop computer systems
- Knowledge of networks and firewalls
