Responsibilities:
ARCFIELD is seeking a
Space Protection Systems Engineer to contribute to program success in the acquisition and maintenance of National Security Space systems
What You’ll Get to Do with Us:
- Support a large System Engineering & Technical Assistant (SETA) contract responsible for the complete end-to-end life cycle of the customer's Space Systems
- Serve in the Protection Domain supporting Indications and Warning (I&W) innovations and Major Systems Acquisitions
- Assist with performing technical planning, systems integration, risk assessment, and requirements and Concept of Operations evaluation to determine performance against meeting community Statement of Capabilities (SOC) across missions by collaborating with other engineers from across the Enterprise
- Assist with System Requirements Closure through the conduct of Systems Engineering Lifecycle Readiness Reviews and System Engineering Technical Reviews.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Engineering working groups that will review and assess the maturity of engineering Artifacts, CONOPS, Interfaces, and Architecture products and support program technical and management forums and meetings on behalf of the customer Enterprise System Engineer.
- Assist with decision support and technical consultation, meeting coordination, and leading the development of initial recommendations for Government decision-makers.

Qualifications:
What We Need from You (REQUIRED):
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
- 10-12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years with MS, or 5-7 years with Ph.D. in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or a related STEM degree program
- Familiarity with technical program acquisition and life cycle readiness
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have (
DESIRED):
- Experience with space systems acquisitions.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with the Intelligence Community.
- Usage of Confluence, Jira, and familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
