Tailor/Seamstress Job at ZIPS DRY CLEANERS
Zips Dry Cleaners / South Tampa is currently seeking a motivated, energetic, and experienced tailor/seamstress.
Our location will provide:
- A fully air conditioned environment
- All equipment, tools, and supplies needed for services
- Negotiable split on all services provided (discussed upon interview)
- Flexible scheduling (discussed upon interview)
- Access to our high volume, large, and growing customer base
Duties Include:
- Excellent customer service skills!!!!
- Must be able to meet set deadlines for services.
- Be able to suggest needed alterations to customers (upsell services)
- Completing various sewing/alteration needs, IN STORE, including:
- Hems (pants, dresses, sleeves, etc.)
- Repairs (zippers, buttons, mends, etc)
- Taking in/letting out & tapering garments
- Formal wear alterations
- Patches
- Accurately measure/mark garments for alterations
- Ability to operate standard alteration equipment
- Maintain an organized, clean, & well stocked area
- Communicate to General Manager needed supplies in a timely manner
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $600.00 per week
