Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the recruitment and placement of 3 key components of our model: Core team members (full-time), project-focused community members (contractors), and building “bench” talent to join our community on an ongoing basis. Reporting to the Head of People, the TAS will work closely with the People and Project Operations teams to help forecast and manage internal resources and capacity. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must be incredibly organized, able to find clarity without having all the data and can see the big picture connecting all the details they are tracking.
This role is full-time and based out of our brand-new headquarters in Grant Park, Atlanta.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment and placement process
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Assist team members with identifying the appropriate levels of available community members, recruitment, and outreach
- Interact with potential candidates (for both core team and community roles) on professional networks and social media
- Create talent pipelines for current and future hires for core team and community member roles
- Post job ads in the most effective digital media for open positions
- Develop a network and build relationships with third-party recruiters to assist with specialized placements
- Screen candidates, select qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connect viable candidates with hiring managers
- Maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
- Facilitate contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
- Oversee the scheduling of interviews; preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Assist with the interview process, attend and conduct interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and Head of People during the offer process, identify and recommend salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Develop and maintain a pipeline to our team benches of community members
- With the support of the People Coordinator, negotiate and create contracts using standard company procedures, manage contract expiration dates, ensure community members are compliant with relevant legal requirements, and ensure paperwork is uploaded, signed, and up-to-date in our database
- Work with the Head of People to ensure community member pay rates are current and relevant to the market
- Work with the relevant departments to oversee initial onboarding for community members and core team members to ensure they are properly set up
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.

- Experience in hiring creative roles
