Tasting Room/Terrace Events Worker Job at Aurora Cellars

Fridays 3-10pm, some flexibility on start time available depending on the event
Description
This shift is responsible for chilling wines, keeping an eye on the event space and making sure it is clean, setting up, connecting with the mother of the groom or point of contact for the event, assisting in wine sales, ensuring guests are off the property by 10pm, and shutting down the tasting room at the end of the night.
Duties
- Please arrive on time in Aurora attire with a smile
- Check in with your manager for set up tasks
- Review wine choices for the event
- Give 5 star customer service/smiles
- Periodic checks of the outdoor space, collecting empty glasses & trash
- Maintenance restrooms, wiping down sink, empty trash & sanitize toilet seats.
- Run glassware through the dishwasher as needed.
- Provide wine service behind the bar
- Announce last call for glass pours 30 minutes prior to closing
- Bag & take trash to the dumpster behind the tasting room
- Have the tasting room cleaned & ready for opening in the morning
- Turn off lights- inside & tent lighting
- Lock up the Tasting Room
- Clock out
