Tax Preparer / Staff Accountant Job at Confidential
Our CPA firm near the Oakland Airport is currently seeking a full time tax preparer / staff accountant to join our team. The job duties or qualifications of this position are as follows:
· Preparation and review of federal and state tax returns
· Bookkeeping experience desired
· Experience with Lacerte or QuickBooks is a plus
· Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in tax, accounting, finance, economics, or related degree preferred
· Licensed EA, CPA or CPA candidate preferred
· Recent public accounting experience is a plus
· Effectively communicates with clients, team members, and management
· Deals effectively with deadlines as overtime will be required during the tax season
· Tax research and compliance is a plus
· Highly motivated
· Entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility
· Ability to integrate quickly
