Role Overview
The Team Leader, Home Sale Services is responsible for managing customer files, providing day to day work direction to team members, including overall people management, and ensures the delivery of superior customer services and the achievement of performance metrics. Will also support, mentor and train the Home Sale Specialist, and respond to and resolve first level customer escalations or concerns. This role manages at least two direct reports.

**In response to the COVID-19 pandemic all interviews are being conducted virtually.

If selected for an in-office position, you will work remotely while BGRS operates under mandatory telework.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leads the daily operations of the team as subject matter expert for operational questions and customer and client service first level escalations.
  • As determined by the Manager/Director, effectively handles a modified caseload to include VIP or specialty files and manages the client relationships on day-to-day issues.
  • Manages both internal and external resources in order to meet the needs of the customer and client
  • Provides the highest level of customer service by communicating effectively with the customer, corporate client, management, and all internal/external resources
  • Supports the Manager/Director in all staff training; for example, in client policy, scope of services and program types
  • Assists in auditing data and reports
  • As required, participates in, and, as appropriate, leads the training and development of team.
  • Stays current with the relocation industry trends and standards
  • Managing the direct reports on the team
  • Conducting regular feedback/development meetings with each employee
  • Conducting regular team meetings to share feedback and best practices
  • Review and maintain services results log, and individual quarterly scorecards
  • Ensuring team member/s receive appropriate training
  • Manage team performance and attendance
  • Recruitment of new team members
  • Assists Manager, Home Sale Services with client reports
  • Monitor mailbox to assign new initiations as received
  • Provides back up for Manager, Home Sale Services during vacations/absences
  • Undertakes other tasks and special projects as required

What You Bring to BGRS

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Consultant or similar level of responsibility in a customer services role, preferably in the Relocation Industry; or 1 year as a Consultant or Home Sale Specialist within BGRS
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in the full relocation process.
  • Excellent client servicing and relationship management skills.
  • Active listening and advisory skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Proactive, well organized, and good at problem solving.
  • Team oriented mindset
