We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join our Leadership team in Dresher, PA. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a leading-edge financial data and analytic software product for KBRA.

Job Responsibilities:
You will be working with a cross-functional team making software for internal users of our KBRA Ratings Process. You should be comfortable participating in a collaborative environment, iterating on solutions and delivering with quality on a regular cadence.
This is a management position. You will be responsible for a team and will have individual contributors reporting to you. Mangers at KBRA also play a part in the hands-on process of building software, and a large part in orchestrating developers to achieve great results. A technical background is required in order to be a good counsel and advocate for engineering, but don't expect to be writing production-facing code on a regular basis. You will be an advocate not only for your direct reports, but for the products on which they work, the technical organization, and the company as a whole.
- Work with product managers, designers, and developers to prioritize, plan, and schedule work.
- Communicate status, risks, and requirements both internally and to other groups.
- Provide technical and non-technical guidance to the team, both individually (through scheduled one on ones) and as a group.
- Facilitate continuous learning and growth for the team and its members.
- Work with other development teams to identify and anticipate changing requirements and opportunities to improve the development environment.
- Recruit, hire and onboard engineering talent

- Understand that managers add value by enabling their team.
- Know that no matter how much an organization is communicating, it isn't enough.
Additionally, experience with the following is preferred but not required:
- Xtreme programming methodologies (including pair programming and/or mob programming)
- Systems thinking
- The Manager tools framework
Salary Range:
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $175,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
