Our Lexington campus is ready to grow, and our world-class team is looking for a Technical Development Engineer!
You'll be responsible for:
- Collaborate with our Research and Development Lab team to interpret material analyses for customers using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Develop and implement procedures and techniques to meet our ever-growing environment.
- Maintain awareness of market demand, market trends, and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with customers to define functional product performance requirements and translate them into technical product specifications and formulation design.
- Maintain strong quality focus.
- Work with Business Development and Sales/Marketing teams to understand customer requirements and critical values to define new product opportunities while incorporating CNG’s technology to meet and exceed customer needs.
- Collaborate with Continuous Improvement, IT, and Operations to optimize processes, formulations, and systems.
- Research and analyze customer issues or proposals to create new product development and improvement strategies.
- Communicate strategy and results to the team.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Production, and Quality departments to meet customer expectations.
- Comply with all AIB and BRC standards.

Requirements:
- BS in Engineering; Chemical Engineering, Packaging and Polymer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience specializing in Engineering or Research and Development.
- Demonstrated skill in being detail-oriented, organizing work, setting priorities, and sound decision making.
- Strong Leadership capabilities with effective team communication.
- Strong work and personal ethics.
- Deal effectively with company personnel from production workers to top management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively in a team environment within and outside of the department
