Job Overview:
The primary focus will be to recruit experienced IT talent to fill a roster of in-house onsite jobs ranging from Senior Developers to Systems Administrators to Senior DBA’s to Seasoned PM’s and everything in between. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for creating a pipeline of qualified resources to support current and future recruiting needs for the IT Department. S/he will research, create and maintain innovative sourcing strategies to find and attract both passive and active talent. They will use a variety of search methods including social media, campus recruiting, internal databases, job boards, Boolean searches, and other applicable techniques.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Source, identify, and develop IT candidates through multiple channels including mining online resources such as internal/external job boards and associations, social/professional networking sites, internet searches, etc.
  • Research job fairs in the area and formulate methods to widen our reach and presence
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in sourcing tools and technologies (Search Techniques, AI Platforms, Communication Strategies) and identify innovative ways to find top talent
  • Evaluate new and existing job boards to determine relevance of the same to our recruiting efforts
  • Work with our team and college officials/career development offices and evaluate ways to build or improve our campus recruiting efforts
  • Work with college officials to facilitate all campus recruiting events, arranging information sessions, attend career fairs, etc.
  • Identify and partner with various community based organizations who can help in our search, providing a targeted approach

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills required
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide array of initiatives to tight deadlines
  • Strong networking abilities
  • Analytical & detail oriented
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
  • Relevant experience in the staffing industry with demonstrated proficiency in sourcing talent, preferably in e-commerce
  • Any AIRS certification a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition systems and HR processes (ATS, References. etc.)
