This hourly (non- exempt) is an entry-level position that serves and supports all the business units of First American Bank through the implementation of technological business processes and systems. This is not a help desk role. In addition, this position helps to assist in streamlining department processes and distributing information in the most efficient manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist team members in reviewing and analyzing products and/or new modules that may be needed to satisfy a business need.
  • Provides general software support for applications within the Bank. Configure systems using out of the box tools for functions within the application.
  • Assist in defining technical problems and work with development staff to determine solutions. Perform parameter and configuration changes and upgrades.
  • Serve as a resource to the development team, work with QA team to test functionality and deploy those solutions in the production environment.
  • Develop test scripts and procedures to ensure software products meet organization standards and end user requirements.
  • Isolate, reproduce, and track software defects and verify fixes.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of software issues and work with team to solve the technical problem.
  • Perform ongoing tasks to maintain and enhance overall software system performance.
  • Assist Technical Support Analyst II team in administering critical software applications as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year professional or academic experience in computer programming, business analysis, or system administration required.
  • Previous banking industry experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and good customer service skills with internal customers are required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are required.
  • Must have an above average understanding of Microsoft products, including, but not limited to Word and Excel. Experience with Visio is preferred.
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.
  • Some travel between Elk Grove and various branches is required.
  • Ability to work regularly scheduled hours Monday – Friday (some weekend or evening hours may occasionally be required depending upon business need).
