You’ll work with them on the newest treatment breakthroughs for some of the most perplexing conditions. And ultimately, you’ll help make a positive difference in patients’ lives.

Summary:

The Technical Support Engineer is a critical member of the business technology team and is responsible for the maintenance of the end user experience. This position assists in all aspects of technology support and administration required for the Allucent community.

They will be supporting the team from our Cary, NC office location, Monday - Friday.

Essential duties include:


  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets regarding corporate laptops, printers, and user applications
  • Provide IT support to improve the end user’s endpoint experience.
  • Deploy, maintain, and support auxiliary IT technology
  • Manage and maintain accurate case/ticket records in the Help Desk system and make improvements as identified.
  • Help develop IT tools and processes to promote efficient and effective end user support practices
  • Assist in documentation of IT knowledge base for internal IT use, or broader employee reference, as appropriate
  • Provide instructions to new employees around relevant IT systems
  • Collaborate with local and remote IT team members to build and maintain positive, productive team relationships
  • Develop positive relationships with the business and other functions involved in downstream technical processes
  • Keep updated on industry trends and emerging technologies as applicable to Microsoft’s ecosystem

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 Desktop technologies
  • Proficiency supporting Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management (mobile and desktop)
  • Understanding of Switches, VPN, and Wi-Fi access points and other networking technologies
  • Identity Management – Active Directory, Azure AD, and MFA
  • Understanding of Microsoft Business Applications: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Stream
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks; achieve deadlines and work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • The ability to serve others and trouble shoot problems. Strong listening, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage and keep confidential client and human resources information, company information, and materials.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 desktop
  • Position is located in Cary, NC
