Knickerbocker Group is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to help support the IT needs of our growing team. This individual will work under the direction of our IT Manager, ensuring that all hardware, software and workstation needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner with minimal disruption to the end user.

Primary responsibilities include:

• performing general troubleshooting of Windows related issues.
• setting up hardware.
• installing printers.
• installing and updating user endpoint software, drivers, and Windows updates.
• maintaining and utilizing remote management software.
• assigning and applying software licensing.
• conducting first level diagnosis of basic phone, cell phone, iPad and mobile hotspot issues and connecting users with correct vendor support as needed. This includes onsite troubleshooting and equipment deployment.
• running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
• performing technical onboardings and offboardings.
• training employees on new technologies, new releases, upgrades and IT policies and procedures.
• maintaining conference room cameras, speaker phones, TVs, projectors, and PA system at company events.
• assisting IT Manager with other tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has:

• a basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles.
• strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• excellent customer service standards and procedures.
• the ability to take direction and work independently.
• strong organizational and time management skills.
• proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software.
  
• experience and/or education in IT, customer service or related field preferred.
