Little Silver Animal Hospital is looking for a Technician Assistant to join our Team!
Our Team works closely together to provide excellent care to our patients, focusing not only on the bond between the patient and client but also being advocates for them and the families who love them.
We are a growing 6 Doctor practice in the Red Bank area that offers general medicine, surgery, dentistry, digital radiology, stem cell therapy, acupuncture, in-house laboratory, and therapeutic laser.
The best candidate will love working with people and animals with a minimum of two years’ work experience. They will have strong communication skills, be enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, interested in learning and working as part of a Team.
Experience is preferred but we will train the right individual.
Our Technician Assistants are responsible for, assisting in exam rooms and surgery, managing their time, communicating with the Team and with our clients, assisting in the care of patients: cleaning and maintaining of hospital and client areas, collecting and preparing laboratory samples, radiology, use of computers and preparing prescriptions.
Preferred:
Experience in an animal hospital, shelter or kennel
Schedule:
Full-Time employees have a 4-day work schedule for 35 - 40 hours per week.The schedule includes some weekends, days, evenings and a holiday rotation. Schedule may include some 10 - 12 hour shifts.
Part-Time employees will be scheduled a minimum of 16 hours per week. Will include two evenings plus a weekend shift and a holiday rotation.

While performing the duties of this job, employees may be regularly required to lift and or move up to fifty pounds as well as bend, sit, squat, or stand for periods of time. This job also includes phone and computer work which will need to be performed.
