Marion Eye Centers, the area's largest ophthalmology practice covering Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Central Illinois, is currently looking for a friendly, polite, and extremely motivated individual to join our practice, long term, working out of our Greenville, IL location.
Upon hiring the applicant will be enrolled in a paid internship program which, when completed, will result in a position as an ophthalmic technician and an increase in pay. After one year with the practice and continued job training and self-motivation, there will be additional opportunities for national certification and generous pay increases.
A medical background is a plus, but not necessary.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic tests on patients of all ages.
- Responsible for rooming patient and taking patient history such as reason for visit, medication, medical history and visual acuity.
- Position will assist ophthalmologists with patient exams and procedures.
