(temporary) Quality Control Inspector Job at Luna Innovations
Luna Innovations is seeking a temporary Quality Control Inspector to join our Chino, CA office for a 3 to 6 month assignment.
Shift: 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional over-time work
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector will use his/her analytical skills to give precise and detailed written notation of findings related to acceptability and non-conformance of what they are inspecting.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Inspect the electronic, optical material and finished goods against standards, procedures.
- Record inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into quality database.
- Check that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with requirements.
- Coordinate to resolving Quality issues and non-conforming reports findings.
- Monitor and manage all equipment calibration.
- Other tasks assigned by the manager.
Skills:
- Possess good organization and time-management skills
- Able to perform job duties with limited supervision
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- High school diploma required, Associate’s degree in Electronics desirable
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of electronic inspection experience
- Experience in QC inspection organizational activities, and have a well-rounded knowledge of electronic Inspection using Inspection Instruments and Tools (Oscilloscope Multimeter)
- Must be familiar with electronic inspection activities, manufacturing processes and evaluation of problem-solving techniques.
- Computer literate in MS Word and Excel; experience with Google Drive and NetSuite is desirable
Work Environment:
90% of work is performed on the production line. 10% is spent in the IQC area and inventory stockroom.
