Test Center Administrator/Operations Assistant II
Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position:
Test Center Administrator/Operations Assistant II in the Academic Testing Center. The
Test Center Administrator/Operations Assistant II provides technical and professional services in the Academic Testing Center (ATC) for the University and community. Must be certified annually by each testing company and maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing requirements. Observes University, state/federal, and test agency policies and procedures for security/confidentiality of testing records; including adherence to FERPA as it relates to CCU and testing services, to maintain integrity of ATC.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist Director in requesting testing company contracts for review annually by University Council;
- Assist Director in participation in campus meetings to publicize and market services, communicate program policies;
- Provide Academic Testing Center (ATC) services to CCU faculty, students and public clients;
- Assist Director in data collection for monthly and annual reports;
- Assist Director in updating ATC website and ATC Operations Manual as needed;
- Stay abreast of emerging testing center technologies;
- Assist Director with daily operations of ATC;
- Inventory supplies and testing materials on a monthly basis;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of relevant experience are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Previous or current certifications for various testing companies; Microsoft Office skills (Excel in particular); and additional knowledge and skills in technology trouble shooting and scheduling system experience are preferred.

Operations Assistant II (AH74/61121634/FTE-S00703P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary range: $29,061.00 (minimum) to $41,415.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Schedule may vary based on ATC schedule. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Two (2) years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Strong observational and listening skills; the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team-oriented setting; proficient knowledge of computers; the ability to meet yearly certification requirements; excellent customer service and critical thinking skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and attention to detail. Must be self-motivated, independent and results oriented; the ability to work with minimal supervision in the daily performance of duties; knowledge of general office equipment; and the ability to work well with people. Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at one time; sit for long periods of time; and swap out computers, cables and accessories as needed.

Employee will primarily work day hours but should be flexible to work evening hours if Testing Center demand requires such.
