Therapeutic Activities Assistant Job at Brush Hill Care Center
Brush Hill Care Center, a 160 bed long term care skilled nursing facility (SNF) is seeking a Therapeutic Activities Assistant to engage with the residents and provide them with companionship and meaning.
All shifts available: hours vary, including rotating weekends.
The Therapeutic Activities Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the social well being of our residents. The Therapeutic Activities Assistant will help develop and implement resident appropriate programs with Therapeutic Recreation Director. Provide 1:1 programs for resident that are not able to participate in group activities. And create an overall pleasant environment for our residents. Help residents stay connected to family and friends using facility provided electronics.

COVID-19 considerations:
The facility is mandated as a Health Care Facility to test at minimum, all staff once a month. Testing is done at the facility, and results are returned to staff within 2 days. Temperature and symptoms are checked at the beginning of each shift.
