Crack Open the Possibilities – Order Processor/Order Runner

This position is based out of Tonopah, Arizona. There may be some instances where Managers may ask for additional tasks to be performed outside of the normal job responsibilities. The role and position is a very fast paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

(Included but not limited to the following)

Ensure that both the run sheets and the Set Up Sheet are printed and ready for next day's production.

Check that Run Sheets are available for the appropriate personnel!

Make sure that the Stock Associate has a copy of the Set Up Sheet first thing each morning.

Set up MOBA Machine, Program Lane Packers, to match the run sheet.

Clear dates and counters from the run before

Put all cartons into machines, make sure everything is set up for the day's production.

Make sure all dates are changed and validated, correct.

Make labels and ensure that each packer is supplied with ample labels necessary for the day's production.

Check cooler inventory, see what is on hand, and check orders for what is needed for the day

Work with manager and front office to gain recap: 10 AM first recap, 11 AM second recap, every hour until final recap is issued

Ask for first recap at 10 AM, then ask again at 11 AM, by noon when all final orders for the next day

Ensure that the Follow Through method is followed throughout the day regarding and changes made to the orders

Order processor must check email for intra-company orders that may arise

Order processor must put any intra-office orders in the Order Book in both the Plant and the Cooler

Make a visual inspection of all egg products and ensure packaging is not being damaged in any way

Check use by dates and/or lot#s of all products Perform visual inspection of all products on floor, verify labeling information and check for accuracy

Ensure that all products are stored off the floor, appropriately packaged, stored on pallets or containers that prevent cross contamination

Two hours before the completion of running eggs, Order Processor must check Cooler Inventory to ensure the accuracy of the completed orders (if necessary communicate the shortages)

Before machines stop for the day, Manager will visually verify that all orders have been filled and the Order Runner has signed off on the re-cap, and has it has been turned into the office

At the end of each day, sign the re-cap and give to Production Manager (remember to confirm accuracy before signing)

The Order Processor focuses on orders, by checking the run sheet on periodic times throughout the day. Makes date changes(according to the state) and product changes are made according to the run sheet, and follows up by notifying denesters, packers, stackers, and USDA Inspectors, of the changes.

Ensure labels stocked to the correct packing lanes. DATES ARE EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY

As a Hickman's Family Farms employee, it is your responsibility to inform and report all FOOD SAFETY or FOOD QUALITY problems to any Personnel with Authority so that they may initiate Corrective Action.

Qualifications and Skills

• Capable of being on your feet 8-12 hours a shift
• Ability to become pallet jack certified.
• Ability to train in chemical safety
• Effectively communicate
• Awareness of surroundings
• Ability to lift and stack 30-40 lbs throughout a 8-12 hour shift
• Standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, crouching, push/pull, reach above shoulders a great amount of time and hand/finger dexterity required
• Able to work with Personal Protective Equipment
