Tool Crib Attendant Job at APTAR Beauty & Home
Responsibilities
- Maintain, store, inspect, and distribute tools, fixtures, and equipment to production and other departments.
- Maintain a database of assets that are available, in use, or being maintained.
- The tool crib attendant will utilize Asset Tracking Software to input asset information to facilitate in tracking assembly fixtures, test fixtures, and tools that are used by production and other departments.
- Add asset serial numbers to tools, fixtures, and equipment.
- Maintain tools, fixture functionality, calibration records, and safe conditions by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage.
- Orders new tools and equipment as needed, repairs equipment or escalates repairs/replacements.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) as required to ensure safety and ESD compliance.
- Assist with test station and production bench setups. Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMACS) of equipment, benches, and tools.
- General clerical tasks as assigned using MS Excel, Word, SAP
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma required, Technical High School is preferred
- Excellent organization skills to ensure the tool crib and associated inventory management system are maintained as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with others in various groups is required
- Must display a positive, can-do attitude.
- Computer Knowledge, especially with current software and technology is required. Strong MS Excel knowledge is required.
- Must be articulate with excellent communication skills.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Works well with hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
